Property expertise that protects both buyers and sellers
Over the past 30 years, the population of Puyallup has nearly doubled, and it’s still growing. More than 13,000 additional people are expected to live in the city by 2030. That’s likely to result in a lot of new development, along with a housing market full of both buyers and sellers for years to come.
If you’re a part of that market, or you’re planning to be, it’s important to ensure you are protected—whether you are buying or selling. And that means having a quality home inspection.
At 4 Seasons Home Inspections, we protect both buyers and sellers by identifying major and minor concerns that can cause issues down the line—or even derail a sale in the first place. Both sides truly benefit from a thorough inspection. Here’s how.
Buyers
A home can look nice on the outside, and even the inside, but still have unseen problems lurking. The right inspection will alert you to those problems before you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a home, saving you from unexpected massive repair bills or worse. If the inspection shows the home is in great shape, that’s even better: You can be confident in your purchase, knowing your new home will be safe and secure.
Condos
When you’re looking to buy or sell a condo, it’s important to look beyond the unit’s living area. How is the roof? Are common areas in good shape? Major issues like these can lead to big assessments later, and it’s important to know what you might be facing ahead.
Sellers
If your home has hidden problems, wouldn’t you rather have the chance to address them before a potential buyer has a home inspection? A pre-listing inspection gives you that opportunity, meaning you might be able to get more out of your sale by fixing any issues. Verifying that your home is in good shape also allows you to promote that to buyers!
Owners
Even if you aren’t planning to sell your home, an inspection might be a good idea: After all, finding small problems before they become big ones is a key benefit that isn’t limited to buyers or sellers.
A Certified Master Inspector means a better inspection
4 Seasons Home Inspections is a locally owned company dedicated to friendly, personal service. But we’re dedicated to our craft as well: We have three Certified Master Inspectors on staff—a professional designation earned only by the 1% of inspectors who meet the high standards and qualifications set by the Master Inspector Certification Board. Those include abiding by the board’s code of ethics and completing a combination of 1,000 paid inspections and/or related continuing education courses.
The CMI designation means homeowners can trust us to perform the highest-quality inspections—and that’s exactly what our inspectors do, in Puyallup and across the Puget Sound area.
What 4 Seasons inspections include
Every home is different, and each inspection requires careful attention to detail. You might think older homes are the most likely to have issues, but even new construction can have serious problems—problems that can be missed by inspectors who aren’t thorough. Every 4 Seasons inspection includes a robust evaluation of all components of a house, including:
- The exterior and roof
- The yard and surrounding grounds, including fencing
- Key structural features and components
- All core systems, such as electrical, heating/cooling, and plumbing
- All interiors, along with the crawlspace and attic
- Ventilation and insulation
- Interior and exterior stairs and railings
- Balconies, patios, and decks
We also offer additional services such as sewer inspections, thermal imaging, energy audits, and mold and pest inspections.

All of the information we gather is provided to you in a detailed report, with areas of concern flagged and photos included so you know exactly what needs to be addressed—and where. If there are major problems or defects, we will tell you. If there are minor problems that could lead to bigger issues later, we will tell you. And if everything looks great, we’ll tell you that, too.
Our reports also indicate safety hazards if any are present, along with anything that could impact things such as insurance, financing, or even occupancy. (Believe it or not, we’ve inspected homes with so many defects that they were unsafe to live in without major renovations.)
You can trust 4 Seasons
Whether you choose 4 Seasons Home Inspections or not, we urge you to use a qualified inspector anytime you are considering buying or selling a home—in Puyallup or elsewhere. Otherwise, you could be putting both your safety and your budget at risk.
